In concert with our commitment to improve the Sacramento community, we offer two important job training opportunities. Both programs help to meet high industry demand while transforming the lives of people who have overcome homelessness, addiction and other serious life problems—and are ready to start new, productive lives.
The Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. of Northern California has partnered with The Salvation Army to offer a one-month, hands-on training program that provides students with a comprehensive introduction to the construction trades as a career path.
This program helps students develop entry-level kitchen skills so that they may successfully work in food service operations, including restaurants, hotels and other industry-related organizations.
We hope you'll click on the programs above and learn about the very real lives that are being transformed through these vital programs.
