For over 130 years, The Salvation Army has been providing hope and a second chance in the Sacramento region. It is our mission simply to love people - and we believe that it is a blessing to be a part of such positive change.

 

At The Salvation Army, we are dedicated to Doing the Most Good.

We have one agenda: to meet human need without discrimination. In Sacramento, we assist over 30,000 people each year. We operate a thriving Community Center in Oak Park, plus family services, an emergency shelter and transitional living. We are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of families and individuals in crisis.
